Special Education Teacher | Essex Junction, Vermont

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification.
• Experience delivering instruction to elementary students, preferably K-4.
• Background in supporting students through inclusion, with knowledge of push-in and pull-out teaching models.
• Strong skills in literacy intervention—Orton-Gillingham training highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner with classroom teachers, other specialists, and families.
• Ability to create adaptive lesson plans and maintain thorough IEP documentation.
