Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student growth and development in an educational setting near Snohomish, WA. The assignment runs from September 2, 2026, through June 15, 2027, based in Marysville. In this pivotal role, you’ll deliver expert physical therapy services within school environments, working 14-16 hours per week (0.4 FTE) and collaborating with a caseload ranging from Pre-K through transitional ages.

Your responsibilities will include evaluating and assessing students’ motor and physical development, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on IEP and 504 planning, and designing therapy schedules tailored to student needs. You’ll provide direct therapy, indirect services, and consultative support, always drawing on evidence-based practices and current PT methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate in Physical Therapy, or be eligible to obtain one.
  • Knowledge of current best practices in physical therapy and evidence-based interventions.
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds, including those with limited English proficiency, is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with school operations and collaborative educational environments.
  • Active Washington State driver’s license preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments relevant to IEP/504 planning and student progress.
  • Develop and implement engaging therapy interventions.
  • Collaborate with education teams, families, and support staff.
  • Deliver a combination of direct, consultative, and indirect services as needed.
