Key Qualifications:

  • Must possess at least one of the following:
    • Associate’s Degree or higher
    • 48 college units & High School Diploma
    • Passing score on CBEST & High School Diploma
    • Passing the instructional aide exam & High School Diploma
  • REQUIRED: “S10/S10A” qualifications must be explicitly listed on your application—transcripts or resumes alone are not sufficient.
  • Additional S-Qualifications (list as applicable): S10E, S10F, S10Q, S10W, S20D, S20V, S22, based on candidate experience and certifications; see role-specific training or experience prerequisites for each specialization.
  • Ability and willingness to support all campus placement needs, including toileting, feeding (including g-tube), and other essential care tasks.
  • Team player attitude and open communication.
  • CPR/First Aid certification may be funded by the district, depending on assignment.
  • Willingness to complete employer-offered training, including emergency medication administration and specialized health care needs, as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers and support students in academic and social activities.
  • Provide direct care and supervision as assigned.
  • Implement individualized education programs with guidance from educators and specialists.
  • Engage in ongoing training and contribute to an inclusive, supportive environment.
