Step into a dynamic role serving a K-4 school community with 500 students as a full-time School Psychologist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in young learners' lives, working within a supportive educational setting near Lancaster, PA. You'll play a key role in the provision of psychological services, including evaluations, assessments, and occasional counseling, all within standard school hours.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations and assessments
- Comfort with providing counseling as needed
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to positive student outcomes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for K-4 students
- Administer standardized and non-standardized assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Provide consultation and support to teachers, families, and staff regarding student learning and behavior
- Offer occasional individual or small group counseling sessions for students, as required
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation
- Uphold ethical standards and comply with all relevant regulations and best practices
