Occupational Therapist School Setting in Daly City, CA

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Hold an active Occupational Therapist license in California
• Demonstrated experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school environments
• Strong understanding of IEPs, student assessments, and progress documentation
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students per their IEPs and school orders
• Assess students’ abilities and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs
• Maintain regular documentation and progress monitoring in accordance with district and regulatory standards
• Offer consultative support to teachers and parents, promoting optimal learning environments
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
