Speech Language Pathologist in Windsor Locks, CT

Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students in grades 6, 7, 8, and 12+ (Transition Population) as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Windsor Locks, CT. In this flexible, part-time role, you'll make a significant impact on students’ communication development and transition success, working three consistent days each week, totaling 18 hours. Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience providing speech and language services to middle, high school, and/or transition-aged students preferred
• Skill in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and providing direct interventions
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort with engaging in PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy for students in grades 6, 7, 8, and the transition population (12+)
• Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain thorough documentation
• Participate in and contribute to PPT meetings scheduled on your designated workdays
• Consult and collaborate with educators, specialists, and families regarding student needs and progress
• Support students’ development of functional communication skills essential for academic and post-secondary success
