Opportunity Details:
Black Bear Lodge in Sautee, GA is currently recruiting a PRN Nurse Practitioner for their Adult Addiction and Psychiatric Treatment Programs.

- Employment Type: PRN, Hospital Employed, onsite only \n
- Schedule / Hours: weekends, weekdays, holidays and vacation coverages (Thursday, Friday and Saturday availability preferred) \n
- Patient Volume: varies by census \n
- Location: Sautee, GA-North GA Mountains \n
- Practice Setting: Stand-alone behavioral and substance abuse facility, H&Ps \n
- Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BC Psychiatrists, BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers and Therapists \n
- EMR / Technology: Tier currently but will be updating with new EMR in the fall \n
Responsibilities

The duties include admission physicals and daily consult care with follow-ups

Medical management of routine illnesses
\n - \n
There is a full team of diverse psychiatry physician staff at the hospital for collaboration between them and the FNP.
\n - Document care using Tier. \n

Qualifications
\n- \n
- PhD or Master s Degree in Nursing from a recognized school of nursing \n
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/APRN in the State of Georgia or willingness to obtain licensure in the State of Georgia. \n
- Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) \n
- Current National DEA Certificate \n
