Black Bear Lodge in Sautee, GA is currently recruiting a PRN Nurse Practitioner for their Adult Addiction and Psychiatric Treatment Programs.

  • Employment Type: PRN, Hospital Employed, onsite only
  • \n
  • Schedule / Hours: weekends, weekdays, holidays and vacation coverages (Thursday, Friday and Saturday availability preferred)
  • \n
  • Patient Volume: varies by census
  • \n
  • Location: Sautee, GA-North GA Mountains
  • \n
  • Practice Setting: Stand-alone behavioral and substance abuse facility, H&Ps
  • \n
  • Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BC Psychiatrists, BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers and Therapists
  • \n
  • EMR / Technology: Tier currently but will be updating with new EMR in the fall
  • \n
\n

Responsibilities

    \n
  • \n

    The duties include admission physicals and daily consult care with follow-ups

  • \n
  • \n

    Medical management of routine illnesses

  • \n
  • \n

    There is a full team of diverse psychiatry physician staff at the hospital for collaboration between them and the FNP.

  • \n
  • Document care using Tier.
  • \n

Qualifications

\n
    \n
  • PhD or Master s Degree in Nursing from a recognized school of nursing
  • \n
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/APRN in the State of Georgia or willingness to obtain licensure in the State of Georgia.
  • \n
  • Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC)
  • \n
  • Current National DEA Certificate
  • \n
