Step into an impactful role supporting early learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity spans 12 weeks to cover a maternity leave, beginning August 19th and continuing through the end of October. Working 32.5 hours per week onsite, you’ll deliver essential speech and language services to young children, collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to help each student achieve their communication goals in line with IEPs and regulatory standards.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or with early childhood populations is preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team and families
  • Passion for supporting children in their early years and adapting strategies to young learners
  • Availability for full onsite presence throughout the assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide therapy to students in alignment with their IEP objectives
  • Document progress and maintain records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Consult with educators, caregivers, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ specific needs
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and assist in adjusting goals as progress is monitored
