Make an impact in the lives of students in the greater West Chester, OH area by supporting their communication needs in a dynamic school setting! Two exciting contract opportunities are available for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026-2027 school year.
One position is full-time for the entire academic year, while the other is a 0.8 FTE leave coverage from August 19th to September 30th, offering the chance to support a school during a key transition period. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and a supportive multidisciplinary team, working in a vibrant learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist in Ohio
- ASHA CCC required
- Experience within a school setting preferred
- Strong ability to create engaging treatment sessions for students with diverse needs
- Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication therapy to K-12 students
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and track progress
- Provide consultative support to classroom teachers and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the broader education team
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in line with district and state requirements
