Job Description
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Madison, Indiana. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide specialized instruction and support to students with mild to moderate disabilities while making a meaningful impact on their academic, social, and behavioral success.

Student Population:
Moderate Needs Program
Qualifications:
Valid Indiana Mild Intervention or Moderate Intervention Special Education License required
Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation
Ability to create structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environments
Commitment to supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, and functional needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and Indiana Academic Standards
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff
Implement evidence-based academic and behavioral interventions
Support students' academic, social-emotional, communication, and functional skill development
Collect and maintain accurate student progress data and documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
