Job Description

You'll work with a manageable caseload, providing essential OT services for approximately 8 hours per week.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
- Previous experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Understanding of OT interventions within educational environments
- Ability to develop and implement IEP goals and objectives
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, parents, and students

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to elementary-aged students based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations to determine students’ needs and document findings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success in the classroom
- Develop strategies and modify activities or environments to support student access to the curriculum
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports, ensuring compliance with all school and district guidelines
- Offer consultation and training to staff and caregivers in support of student goals
