Make a difference across four elementary schools in the Ypsilanti, MI area as a School Psychologist on a contract basis. This full-time, onsite opportunity runs from ASAP through the Extended School Year (ESY) and is ideal for professionals who excel at collaboration, carry expertise in school psychology practices, and are passionate about shaping learning environments for young students. In this role, you’ll also provide valuable support and guidance to an intern, fostering their development alongside your impactful work with students.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current School Psychologist credential in Michigan
  • Prior experience working in school settings, preferably at the elementary level
  • Foundational knowledge of psychological assessments, MTSS, and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in multiple locations
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring and supporting interns or early-career professionals

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological services to students across four elementary school sites
  • Conduct assessments, interpret results, and contribute to the development of IEPs and intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, school leaders, and families to support student progress and well-being
  • Provide guidance, modeling, and professional support to the assigned intern
  • Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with all relevant educational and psychological standards
