Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Michigan
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
- Familiarity with high school student needs, including IEP processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt strategies to individual student strengths and challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate high school students to determine therapy needs and establish treatment goals
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services as outlined in IEPs and 504 plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation on all services delivered and student progress
- Take part in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for each student
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for diverse learners
