Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This 13-week contract assignment seeks a skilled Registered Nurse with Operating Room (OR) experience to support a diverse surgical service line. Your contributions will directly impact patient outcomes and support multidisciplinary teams in a rapidly advancing surgical environment.
Schedule:
- Days: 10-hour or 12-hour shifts
- Call required: Weekend and rotating call for the ortho team, including one weekend every four weeks plus some short and long call shifts
Qualifications:
- Active Rhode Island RN license required (compact license accepted)
- Current BLS certification
- Demonstrated proficiency with general, orthopedic, and neuro cases
- Experience with DaVinci Robotics is required
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced OR setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrub and circulate for a wide variety of surgical procedures, with emphasis on orthopedic and neuro services
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs to facilitate efficient and safe procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot DaVinci robotic systems as needed
- Advocate for patient safety and sterile technique throughout pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain meticulous documentation
- Participate in call rotation and respond rapidly to urgent intraoperative needs

$2,662 - $2,816/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
