Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
  • Prior experience in school-based settings is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments for students, identifying areas of concern and measuring progress
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, tailoring support to each student’s needs
  • Offer direct therapy services across caseloads in both group and individual settings
  • Document and report progress toward IEP goals, maintaining clear and accurate records
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with families and educational staff to update plans and strategies
  • Serve as an expert resource, providing guidance and training to staff and families regarding communication disorders
