This rewarding contract role offers a full-time position for the entire 2026–2027 school year, allowing you to provide essential speech and language services to school-aged learners. Your expertise will support students’ communication skills, foster their academic growth, and contribute to a positive and inclusive educational environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Michigan SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship eligibility preferred
- Experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Passion for working with children and supporting diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to students
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify needs and measure progress
- Develop and implement IEPs, maintain documentation, and track outcomes
- Work closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure holistic support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary problem-solving
- Provide education and strategies for generalization of skills in and beyond the classroom
