Job Description
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A pharmacy technician position is available to support medication distribution and enhance customer service in a healthcare setting. This role requires accurate dispensing of prescribed drugs and effective communication with patients regarding medication usage.
Location: Waxahachie, TX
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8.5 hours per day)
Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute medications as prescribed by physicians and other authorized practitioners
- Provide clear, helpful information to customers about medication use and safety
- Deliver a superior level of customer service to meet patient needs
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License required
- Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
