Family Medicine - Physician - Syracuse, NY

Our organization is in search of a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician with obstetrics experience to become part of our established outpatient practice located at 321 Gifford St., Syracuse, NY 13204.

You will be joining a well-resourced and collaborative team dedicated to providing care for patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, along with women's health services. This clinic features both Family Medicine and Pediatrics on-site and has a significant demand for obstetrics expertise, making it an excellent opportunity for a primary care physician interested in delivering obstetric care. Our practice environment prioritizes patient care, supported by strong system resources and comprehensive ancillary services.

Practice Overview:

• Holistic care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Management of acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions
• Preventive services, including vaccinations and cancer screenings
• Women's health services, such as annual pelvic examinations, pap smears, and obstetric care
• A collaborative, team-oriented clinical atmosphere

KEY HIGHLIGHTS:

Office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (no weekends or holidays).

• One shift from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM approximately every eight weeks, depending on provider coverage
• Shared call rotation
• Physician-governed organization with a physician-led Joint Operating Committee

QUALIFICATIONS:

• New York State medical licensure and DEA certification
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Experience in obstetrics is highly preferred
• Open to both seasoned physicians and recent graduates

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE:

Our organization provides a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:

• Base salary ranging from $225,000 to $242,000
• The stated salary represents the initial range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other forms of cash compensation relevant to the role. Additionally, providers generally receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is in accordance with state law and may vary based on the factors mentioned.
• Starting Bonus: $50,000.00
• Retention bonuses:
• $25,000.00 for Year 1
• $25,000.00 for Year 2
• Resident compensation available at $2,500/month
