Qualifications and Experience Needed:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license in Illinois
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills
  • Willingness to travel between sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy in designated school environments
  • Support students in self-contained complex needs classrooms (1 day each in two separate schools)
  • Manage a speech-only caseload at a private school (0.5 day)
  • Travel between La Grange-area sites based on the weekly schedule
  • Complete accurate documentation, attend IEP meetings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
