This 6-month assignment begins August 12, 2026, and extends to about February 12, 2027, offering a well-defined timeline for both immediate experience and long-term planning. Working up to 37.5 hours over five days each week, you’ll partner with a supportive educational community serving preschool through 8th grade. Encounter a wide range of student abilities and personalities, building your skills with varied caseloads, collaborative teams, and multiple leadership styles. During downtime, you can explore neighboring cities, coastal escapes, and weekend adventures in Northern California.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid license (OT or COTA) for practice in California
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Comfortable working with students from preschool to 8th grade
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic interventions to students based on IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for learners of all backgrounds
