Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state OT license (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric clients is preferred
- Confident in assessing and treating students from kindergarten through 8th grade
- Collaborative communication style with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the needs of students and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to support student IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers and families to integrate therapy strategies within the classroom environment
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expert recommendations
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with requirements
- Promote student independence in motor skills, self-care, and participation in school routines
