Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in the Rancho Cucamonga and Fontana area! We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) or a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with school-based experience to help cover a leave from mid-August through January 2027.

This position offers an excellent hourly rate between $35 and $55, recognizing the value you bring to school communities. You'll make a real difference in children’s daily lives, collaborating with educational teams, and utilizing your expertise in fine motor skills and teletherapy when needed.

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid OT license or COTA certification with strong experience in K-12 school settings
  • Background in school and healthcare-based OT
  • Proficiency supporting fine motor development and classroom participation
  • Familiarity with both in-person and teletherapy service delivery
  • Positive, flexible approach with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and needs within the school environment

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative OT services on-site and via teletherapy
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement IEPs
  • Assess students’ functional performance and develop appropriate interventions
  • Support classroom modifications and accommodations to enhance participation
  • Track progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district standards
