Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting students from preschool through 8th grade as an occupational therapy professional. This contract opportunity, beginning August 12, 2026 and extending through mid-February 2027, offers up to 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Essential Qualifications:
- Experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) within a school setting
- Current, valid licensure as required for OT/COTA in California
- Familiarity with providing therapy to children in preschool through 8th grade
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and document goal-oriented interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of students, supporting their educational and developmental goals
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create effective strategies for student success
- Monitor and document student progress, ensuring all required reports are completed accurately and on time
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions and planning
