What You’ll Bring:
- Previous experience as a school paraprofessional, classroom aide, or similar support role
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate and patient approach to working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Ability to follow teacher instructions and educational plans with attention to detail
- Capability to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education or special education is a plus
- Must be reliable, punctual, and adaptable to a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to provide instructional support and assist with classroom management
- Work individually or in small groups with students to reinforce learning concepts and encourage participation
- Help monitor student behavior and ensure classroom safety and order
- Assist students with special needs and support individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed
- Prepare materials and set up classroom activities as needed
