Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Location: New Haven, Connecticut
Assignment Dates: August 24, 2026 – June 16, 2027
Compensation: $52.37–$62.81 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support a K–8 student population at a specialized educational center in Connecticut. This is a full-time, school-based position serving one campus, with responsibilities that may require travel throughout the center to support students and staff across multiple classrooms and programs.
The BCBA will provide comprehensive behavioral services, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support the development and implementation of evidence-based behavioral interventions that promote student success across educational settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct behavior assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
- Develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Analyze behavioral data and provide recommendations to support student progress.
- Collaborate with IEP teams and participate in meetings.
- Develop crisis intervention plans and support behavior programming.
- Coach and consult with staff on evidence-based behavior strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state requirements.
Qualifications
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Eligible for or in possession of all required Connecticut licensure and/or credentialing.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K–8 educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), positive behavior supports, and special education processes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
