Process Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Our client, manufacturing industry is seeking a Process Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Process Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Process Maintenance Technician
Location: TRAVERSE CITY, MI
Pay Range: $49920 - $76440
Shift: 6 P.M. - 6 A.M. Rotating Schedule
What's the Job?
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery including blown film lines and conversion machines
- Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper operation
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs efficiently
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and physical structures
- Order and manage maintenance supplies and parts inventory
What's Needed?
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably plastics
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, motor circuits, and 480 VAC power systems
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Skilled in fabrication and repair using mills, lathes, welders, and other tools
- Basic computer skills including email and maintenance software
