Gynecology Oncology - Physician - Syracuse, NY

Our Organization, a prominent healthcare provider in Central New York, is on the lookout for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gynecologic Oncologist to become part of our dedicated and mission-focused team. This role is integral to our partnership with a leading cancer center, ensuring that our community receives exceptional oncology services.

Position Highlights

• Full-time position with daytime hours and shared on-call responsibilities
• A well-rounded combination of inpatient and outpatient duties
• Outpatient services provided at our facility located next to the hospital
• Collaborate closely with a small, skilled team consisting of 3 physicians and 3 Advanced Practitioners
• Support from dedicated Advanced Practice Providers for both inpatient and outpatient care
• Non-profit organization status - eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
• MD or DO degree, having completed an accredited OB/GYN residency and Gynecologic Oncology fellowship
• Possession of a New York State medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
• DEA certification is mandatory
• Strong dedication to patient-focused care and clinical excellence

Compensation & Benefits

• Guaranteed base salary of $525,000, with opportunities for additional earnings based on productivity
• The stated salary represents the initial range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift payments, and other potential cash compensation relevant to the role. Additionally, providers generally receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. This salary range is provided in accordance with state regulations and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.
