Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time | School-Year Contract
Locations: San Jose, CA or Travel

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).

  • Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve students' fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills.

  • Document student progress, maintain service logs, and complete required documentation accurately and on time.

  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student success.

  • Prepare therapy materials and assist with classroom-based interventions and accommodations.

  • Support the implementation of IEP goals and participate in team meetings as appropriate.

  • Maintain compliance with school district, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or certification in the state of practice.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

  • School-based or pediatric experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Ability to work independently while receiving supervision from a licensed Occupational Therapist.
