Job Description
Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to a rewarding contract role working with students in a dynamic school-based setting. This opportunity is ideal for SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who are passionate about helping young learners find their voice and reach their full potential. Starting as soon as possible through May 28, 2027, you’ll be an integral support for students and staff.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as an SLP and CCC required
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a range of communication disorders
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
- Provide consultation and in-service training to educational staff
