EPI Power is seeking experienced Energy Marshalls (Electrical LOTO Coordinators) to support large-scale, mission-critical data center construction projects in Des Moines, Iowa, and Boydton, Virginia.
\nThis field-based role is responsible for overseeing and enforcing electrical Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), energy isolation, and energization programs throughout construction and commissioning.
\nThe Energy Marshall serves as the site authority for electrical energy control, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA, NEC, client requirements, and project-specific Energy Isolation and Energization Plans. This position plays a critical role in maintaining safe working conditions, preventing incidents, and supporting a strong safety culture.
\nWhat You’ll Do

- Lead and enforce electrical LOTO and energy isolation procedures \n
- Review Energy Isolation Plans, Energization Plans, JHAs, and electrical permits \n
- Audit and monitor electrical energy control activities during construction and commissioning \n
- Coordinate the safe testing and operation of electrical and MEP systems \n
- Serve as the primary point of authority for electrical energy control \n
- Train employees on electrical LOTO and energy isolation procedures \n
- Maintain compliance with NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA, client, and project requirements \n
- Communicate with project leadership, safety teams, contractors, and clients \n
- Maintain accurate energy-control documentation and records \n
What We’re Looking For
\n- \n
- 10+ years of industrial or commercial electrical construction field experience \n
- Mission-critical or data center construction experience preferred \n
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, one-line diagrams, and construction drawings \n
- Experience with switchgear, UPS systems, generators, battery systems, and electrical distribution equipment \n
- Strong knowledge of electrical LOTO, energy isolation, and energization procedures \n
- Strong communication and leadership skills \n
- Safety-first mindset with the ability to enforce project requirements \n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office \n
