Outpatient Pharmacist in Laytonville, CA

A contracted pharmacist opportunity is available at an outpatient pharmacy setting in the Willits, CA area. This role offers daytime shifts and is expected to last 16 weeks or longer, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include:

• Filling and verifying prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Overseeing pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth daily operations
• Counseling patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications to promote safe and effective use
• Utilizing Cerner technology for pharmacy workflow and record-keeping

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Current California pharmacist license
• Some retail pharmacy experience preferred for patient interaction skills
• Ability to manage workflow and supervise technician staff
• Comfort with compensation terms typical of contract pharmacy roles
