Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid SLP license in Washington state (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language therapy
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a flexible caseload pending final assignment details
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students based on IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and diagnostics as required
- Develop IEPs in collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Serve as a resource for teachers and families regarding strategies to support students’ communication needs
