Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• Valid School Psychologist certification for Illinois, or eligibility for state licensure
• Experience conducting comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education law, and best practices
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and caregivers
• Ability to manage time, documentation, and caseload efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform initial and re-evaluation assessments for students, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional domains
• Administer, score, and interpret a variety of assessment tools as part of the evaluation process
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing evaluation results and providing expertise to guide educational planning and eligibility decisions
• Document and report all evaluation components in accordance with school district and legal standards
• Offer consultation to teachers and support staff regarding interventions and accommodations
• Contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) through thorough assessments and collaboration
• Maintain open communication with families, offering support and guidance throughout the evaluation process
