We are seeking applicants for a Millwright in our International Falls, MN Paper Mill. The International Falls facility is a White Paper Mill owned by Packaging Corporation of America.
\n\n
Responsibilities:
\nWork as part of a team in support of a paper manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
\nPerform precision alignment of motors, machinery, and equipment.
\nResponsible for the installation of bearings and predictive and preventative motor maintenance.
\nPerform advanced pump repair, arc welding, proper riggings.
\nAbility to use mobile cranes, lifts, and hoists.
\nFollow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
\nOther duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
\nHigh School Diploma or GED.
\nCompletion of 2-year technical program.
\n3+ years’ experience as an industrial millwright or maintenance mechanic or the completion of a formal 4-year millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience.
\nAble to pass pre-employment physical and drug test.
\nMust be able to sit, stoop, and bend.
\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S.
\nMust have valid current driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:
\nExperience in a paper or other manufacturing environment.
\n\n
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
\nMust be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other
\n production personnel.
Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.
\nThrive in a cross-functional team environment.
\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.
\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.

Compensation and Benefits

- Hourly salary range for position: $32.61 (76% Apprentice) to $57.88 \n
- Paid Vacation and Paid Holidays. \n
- Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages. \n
- Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions. \n
