This contract position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and is eager to collaborate with dedicated education professionals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license in Illinois
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA
  • Prior experience working in school-based settings
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students needing speech and language intervention
  • Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and provide direct therapy services
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated care
  • Track progress, document sessions, and prepare required paperwork
  • Offer support and resources to families regarding student communication development
  • Participate in IEP meetings to review progress and adjust strategies as needed
