Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade in a dynamic school environment. This assignment focuses on providing crucial Speech-Language Pathology services during a leave coverage period, allowing you to make an immediate impact on the lives of approximately 40 students. The role is based near Sheboygan, WI and runs from September 1st for a 10-week duration, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license required for the state of Wisconsin
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred
  • Previous experience working in school settings is beneficial
  • Knowledge of evaluation, IEP processes, and therapy documentation for PreK–12 students
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with educators and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students on a diverse caseload
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct formal and informal assessments to evaluate student needs and progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student development
  • Maintain thorough records in compliance with school district policies and state guidelines
  • Participate in meetings, contribute to case conferences, and provide consultative support as needed
