What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP licensure in Arizona (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Prior experience supporting children or adolescents in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize a diverse caseload and manage time independently
- Commitment to collaborative, student-centered service
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with diverse needs
- Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic success
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy in individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP development, progress reports, and compliance documentation
- Offer guidance and resources to families and educational staff to promote student growth
