Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Ceres, CA

Step into an impactful role serving K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to assess and support students’ communication needs while working onsite in a collaborative environment. Full-time availability is preferred, but candidates seeking part-time hours will also be considered. The position starts as soon as possible and extends through June 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
• Experience in a K-12 school setting highly desirable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students across K-12 grades
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement therapy interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ progress
• Maintain records and contribute to compliance with state and federal regulations
• Use evidence-based practices to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and school staff development as needed
