Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K–12 students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist in Ingham County. Two positions are available: one full-time and one part-time, both beginning in September. Placement will be within the county, serving students across a variety of schools. Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Current, active Occupational Therapist license for Michigan is required
  • Prior experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Ability to manage and organize caseloads across elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and special education teams
  • Flexible and adaptive mindset to serve diverse student needs across different school sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services and interventions for K–12 students with a range of needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to support classroom modifications and student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and adapt service delivery for new placements within Ingham County
