Occupational Therapist School Setting in Bellevue, WA

Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their growth and development through occupational therapy in a dynamic school environment. Multiple contract opportunities are available for enthusiastic and dedicated Occupational Therapists to join educational teams serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Current openings include:

• A .8 FTE position in the South Seattle area for the full academic year (August 28th to June 18th)
• A 1.0 FTE position in Southwest Seattle, starting January 4th and continuing through the end of the school year

Bringing your compassion and clinical skills to these settings will allow you to play a key role in helping students succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Ideal candidates will have:

• A current state license (or eligibility) in Occupational Therapy
• Recent experience providing OT services in a school-based or pediatric setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and staff
• Comfort supporting a diverse range of learning and developmental needs across K–12th grade
• Adaptability, a positive mindset, and the ability to work independently within a team-focused environment

In these contract roles, you will:

• Conduct assessments and deliver individualized therapy
• Develop and implement effective intervention plans
• Monitor student progress, making data-informed recommendations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise to support student goals
• Serve as a resource for staff and families, promoting student participation and independence
