Desired Qualities & Experience:
- Current, active Physical Therapy license
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
- IVP Fingerprint Card required
- Ability to travel between several sites within the district for service delivery
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists
- Experience developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating students and creating tailored physical therapy interventions
- Delivering direct and consultative PT services in multiple school settings
- Documenting progress and adjusting plans as needed to support student growth
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on IEP goals and support strategies
- Educating school staff and families about therapy goals and exercises
- Managing a varied caseload encompassing mild to severe support needs
