Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
- Active Ohio Occupational Therapist license
- NBCOT certification
- School-based or pediatric experience is a plus (not required)
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct student occupational therapy evaluations and develop personalized plans
- Create IEP goals and provide direct/consultative therapy per student needs
- Partner closely with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Recommend classroom accommodations and adaptive tools
- Complete accurate documentation, including progress reports and Medicaid billing
- Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions
- Educate staff and families on supportive strategies and accommodations
