Quality Control Technician
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quality audits, inspections, and verification checks on the production floor.
Monitor GMP, SOP/SSOP compliance and maintain quality documentation.
Conduct product testing, lab checks, swabbing, and equipment calibrations.
Support HACCP programs, food safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
Review COAs/COCs and communicate quality issues with cross-functional teams.
Assist with employee food safety training and compliance activities.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of food manufacturing quality experience preferred.
Knowledge of HACCP, SQF/GFSI, GMP, sanitation, and food safety programs.
Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Ability to work 3rd shift and support a manufacturing environment.
