Step into an exciting position supporting high school students as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a long-term substitute assignment starting at the beginning of the school year and continuing through November. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact on adolescent communication, language, and social skills in a dynamic educational setting.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
  • Experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads, including high school-age students
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for high school students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP objectives
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Assist with progress reporting and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Provide both individual and small group therapy sessions
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students
