School Speech Language Pathologist - Modesto, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting their academic and social growth in a vibrant school setting. This onsite position is available immediately, continuing through June 2027, with opportunities for both full-time (35-40 hours per week) and part-time schedules—however, the assignment strongly favors those seeking a full-time role. You’ll work across a diverse student body, collaborating with teachers, families, and other specialists to deliver high-quality speech and language services.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active California SLP licensure and relevant certifications
• Previous experience in a school environment, preferably serving K-12
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
• Ability to tailor therapy methods to students’ diverse learning needs
• Confident communicator and collaborative team player
• Comfortable working onsite and engaging in multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
• Deliver direct and consultative therapies in accordance with IEP goals
• Maintain comprehensive records, progress notes, and compliance documentation
• Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Contribute to IEP meetings and ongoing student assessments
• Adapt strategies and materials to promote engagement and progress
