Outpatient Staff Pharmacist - Littleton, Colorado

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support Pharmacist opportunity available for outpatient pharmacies located in Peoria and Wheat Ridge, Colorado. This role requires a skilled pharmacist to provide coverage across both sites in a 13+ week contract-to-hire assignment. The pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective medication dispensing while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Schedule:

• Work between Peoria and Wheat Ridge locations as required

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of experience in outpatient or retail pharmacy
• Experience with Epic Willow preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent patient counseling skills
• Ability to travel between Peoria and Wheat Ridge locations

Responsibilities:

• Verify and accurately fill prescriptions
• Identify and resolve drug interactions and perform drug-utilization reviews
• Dispense controlled substances according to regulatory requirements
• Manage medication inventory and stock pharmacy shelves
• Handle incoming phone calls and assist with point-of-sale transactions
• Provide counseling to patients regarding their medications
• Perform additional duties as assigned by pharmacy management
