Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for certification)
  • Strong understanding of assessment tools and intervention strategies
  • Experience conducting psycho-educational assessments
  • Exceptional communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to support diverse student populations and address a range of academic, behavioral, and emotional needs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths, needs, and areas for growth
  • Develop and help implement individual and group intervention plans
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding student progress and challenges
  • Participate in the creation and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Promote mental health awareness and preventative strategies within the school
  • Support crisis intervention and help provide a safe learning environment
  • Maintain detailed, confidential records and documentation
