Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Proven experience designing and implementing behavior intervention plans within a school or pediatric environment
- Strong understanding of evidence-based behavioral practices (ABA)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide guidance and training to teachers and staff on behavioral strategies
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and the special education process is preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to create effective support plans
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure consistent delivery of recommended strategies
- Lead regular team meetings and provide staff training on best practices in behavior management
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain thorough documentation
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that helps every learner achieve their highest potential
