Job Description
Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students in grades TK through 5 at two welcoming elementary schools. This contract position offers a dynamic, full-time schedule, allowing you to make a meaningful difference over the entire 2026-2027 academic year, beginning August 10, 2026, and concluding June 3, 2027. With a caseload of up to 55 students, you’ll work closely with a diverse group of learners, collaborating with dedicated educators to foster communication skills and academic success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) welcome, but strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Prior experience serving school-aged children, particularly in an elementary setting, is highly valued
- Ability to adapt interventions across a variety of needs, backgrounds, and learning abilities
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
What You'll Do:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver direct and consultative therapy services
- Serve students across both assigned schools, supporting their unique needs in articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatics
- Document progress and maintain compliance records per district and federal requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support professionals to ensure students achieve their fullest potential
- Attend IEP meetings, professional development, and staff events as needed
