Two engaging roles are open for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with experience in school settings. One position offers a full-time commitment for the entire academic year, while the other provides the chance to support students during a 0.8 FTE maternity leave from August 19 through September 30.
Ideal candidates possess:
- Current SLP (CCC) certification and relevant state licensure
- Proven experience providing speech and language therapy in a K-12 school environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Capability to assess, diagnose, and implement individualized therapy plans
- Flexibility and adaptability to support a dynamic school setting
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
In these roles, you will:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, including IEPs as required
- Deliver direct and consultative therapeutic services to students individually and in groups
- Regularly monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed for student success
- Participate in team meetings and communicate progress to teachers and caregivers
- Document services and maintain compliance with school and district protocols
